I woke up about 6 am (that is when the sun starts hitting the boat). Eventually we had breakfast and did our devotions. Another day of doing almost nothing.
We are waiting for the port captain to come and tell us we have to go back out and anchor. At this point, it is 3:30 in the afternoon and he was supposed to be yesterday and we have not seen him. Our quarantine is over Wednesday, so at this point I don’t expect to have to go back out. We met with Salvador today and got some answers about what to expect and what we have to do to get hauled out. We will be taking the sails down, and moving the kayaks inside the life lines. Things like that. We also heard from the guy working on our cushions and he does not have the 2” thick foam, so they will be 3” thick instead. Good!
I have been reading about other peoples boats on a variety of forums and today I had to look up a Beam Vacuum, apparently it its a whole boat vacuum cleaner, the canister fits in a cabinet and a hose is run inside the cabinets to various places so that you just plug a short hose in at several places through out the boat and do your vacuuming. No, we are not going to get one of them!
We do have room for guests, if anyone is interested in visiting and spending a week or so with us, drop us a line and we will coordinate. What you have to do/have is you need a passport and will need to be able to get to where we are when you are going to be down. When we know what time frame you are thinking about we can let you know where we expect to be so that you can make your travel arrangements.
