Taking the seanic route

Up about 7, breakfast, the net, bible reading and aqua aerobics. After lunch, I took a nap and Reneé tried. Then I took the bus to Home Depot and got some spray adhesive to glue the insulation back in place in the engine room.
The big event for the day was joining the other cruisers in going out for dinner to Pancho’s Taco’s. There was a total of 15 of us, 13 in a van and two that drove over (they had other stuff to do so they took their car). The taco’s were among the best I have had here in Mexico!
When we came back we all went over to S/V Ohana, Dave and Michele’s boat. It is a pretty big catamaran. They are “newbies” to cruising. This is their first cruising boat, and it was purchased (used) this year. They have been out for a few day sails with it, but mostly it has been getting the boat ready and learning the boat. They are going to the anchorage this week. The boat is a 4 cabin model that a previous owner had removed the holding tank on the port side and both of those two heads. So, they have two heads and one holding tank all on the stud side. That would be Ok except they have another couple that will be joining them for extended cruising. The plan is to put a composting head in on the port side.
Back to our boat, showers and bed by 10 pm.

The coffee pot started our day and our confusion. Our phones said it was 6 am, the pot thought it was 7 am. Eventually we figured out that there was a time change, and our phones updated automatically. We got up at 7 (by our phones) and had breakfast and off to the bus to get to church, then lunch at Brenda’s, followed by a ride most of the way back to the boat. We had a short bus ride and naps.
We did an evening dinghy cruise with some other cruisers, then back to the boat, dinner, showers and bed.

Today is my Birthday!
Up at 7, breakfast and bible reading before the net, after that we put up the mainsail, which is the last of the rigging stuff on deck. Our to do list is getting much shorter.
Showers are next then up to the mall at noon to join the other cruisers for a trip into Puerto Vallarta for tacos and tequila tasting.
We rode the bus downtown, then walked a few blocks to get to the fish toco stand that Val and Larry had recommended. They lived in “The Zona Romantica” for a few years. From there we walked down Isla Cuela to Oscar’s for the tequila tasting. We had a very good time, and I drank way too much as did Reneé. From there apparently we walked to Los Muertos brewery, at least that is where some of the pictures were taken. Finally after a cab ride back on the boat and bed.

Up at 7ish, breakfast the net and bible reading. This morning we will defrost the fridge, the only thing on the schedule is perhaps get the sails up, and a load of laundry.
So, by 4 ish, the load of laundry has been folded, we made it to aqua aerobics, the stay sail and Jib are up, tomorrow morning we will do the main sail. Reneé baked a load of very tasty bread, and we are going to the pool
