June 5, 6 & 7, 2020 Puerto Peñasco; Days 9, 10 & 11 of Quarantine

We talked to the Port Captain in the morning, after breakfast and devotions. We ran the water maker to top off the water tank and we were expecting to be told to go back to the anchorage. The Port Captain said the whether looked bad now, and perhaps Monday we would go back out, and that he would be back tomorrow. Well as of 6pm Sunday, he has not been by. So, we will see if he comes by tomorrow. We have heard there is a storm brewing Tuesday, which means we may not go back out Monday either. Wednesday is the end of the quarantine, so, we will see what happens.

In the meantime, Renee’ washed some clothes, and we sat inside in the A/C surfing the internet, and doing nothing. Mike who is across the dock from us went to the store and got some coffee for us. Again a very dull day. The cushions from the cockpit went away yesterday to a local craftsman who is redoing them, and the stainless guy was by to get measurements so that he can get us an estimate for the work we want done. But so far not much is going on.

On Sunday, we watched the sermon from Stonebridge Church in Cedar Rapids, Ia. It was a good messages and addressed some of the things we have been experiencing here.

We do have room for guests, if anyone is interested in visiting and spending a week or so with us, drop us a line and we will coordinate. What you have to do/have is you need a passport and will need to be able to get to where we are when you are going to be down. When we know what time frame you are thinking about we can let you know where we expect to be so that you can make your travel arrangements.
