We woke up late this morning, almost 8 am. It was pretty windy and overcast, also a bit cool. We had breakfast and did our devotions.
The rest of the morning was spent reading, and texting friends and family. I also spent some time writing out my thoughts on our boat’s systems. Including upgrades and modifications that I have thought about.
After lunch, we talked about it and then I used the dinghy to go over and invite our neighbors for dinner tomorrow night. They are coming over and we will have company for the first time in ages!
The weather has been kind of yucky, overcast, windy and cool all day. We texted with our friends in Iowa, Southern California and relatives in Northern California. The friends in Southern California told us that they have had 6 inches of rain since last Sunday (6 days). While that may not seem like a lot for someone in the midwest or northwest, in Southern California (where it NEVER rains) it is a bunch! So, we have nothing to complain about.
Late afternoon, Renee’ did some hand washing, did some cooking, and I played with the GO Pro. It is a pretty cool little device. The one I have was lost by someone else, I tried to figure out who by contacting the company GO Pro, they said I should hold on to it (I am guessing that means don’t sell it) and it has been a couple of years now, so I seriously doubt anyone is going to claim it at this point. I bought a kit of stuff for it and a couple of batteries and a charger for the camera. When I got it, there was a battery (that was dead) but no memory card in it. In the kit of stuff, there is a waterproof case, and a variety of holders, straps and suction cups and clips and floats and stuff. I guess we will have to start using it.
We do have room for guests, if anyone is interested in visiting and spending a week or so with us, drop us a line and we will coordinate. What you have to do/have is you need a sport and will need to be able to get to where we are when you are going to be down. When we know what time frame you are thinking about we can let you know where we expect to be so that you can make your travel arrangements.
