May 12th, 2025 Monday (San Carlos marina to Marina Seca ‘DRY’)

Published 05/24/2025
Up at 0600, underway by 6:37 to pump out the holding tank for the last time and then to the haul out at 9 am. Of course, they called when we were a mile + off shore to come early! We arrived about 08:30 and they got us out right away. So far so good! First stop is to see the mast pull location. Bad news, their equipment is too small and they can’t do it. On to plan B, which we don’t have yet…
Well, Allan Smith the project coordinator here for us, communicated with Carlos a guy who works on boats, he has a crane and he will be in the area today to look it over and see if his crane can do the job. If not, we will have to have a crane brought up from Guaymas about 20 miles away. They should he here by 3 pm to look it over. I am still on the boat working through the list to get the boat ready to leave it for an extended stay.

This is the tractor that pulls the boat out of the water.
Here is the boat headed out.
He is guiding the boat
Out on the hard and headed to the Marina Seca (dry)
