Tuesday November 15, 2022 La Cruz Anchorage to Marina Vallarta

(posted 12/23/22)

Up at 7 am, breakfast, the net and bible reading. We will be going to Marina Vallarta at around noon.

We dumped the holding tank on the way over, and got into our slip by 1 pm. We both had things to do as soon as we tied up. I worked on shore power and Reneé finished getting the lines on and then got the paperwork to go to the office and check in. One downside to this marina it really is 3/4 of a mile from our slip to the office. While she was gone I got the water maker going and started filling the water tank. Reneé took some laundry hoping to drop it off and pick it up tomorrow, but the laundry place would not take it, and said come back in the morning. Well the laundry is next to the office and it just isn’t worth it, so we ran a load of sheets on the boat. Then she walked to the store. I got a few things done on the boat, like cleaning the engine room, and glueing some sound proofing material up inside the engine room, and straightening some lines on deck.

The water tank was full by about 7 pm, the sheets (which I hung up outside as soon as they were done in the washer, were not dry yet, so they got hung up below decks with the AC on. Currently 83 degrees, and 55% humidity inside, and 80 degrees and 68% humidity outside. The AC is running and it should get these sheets dry by morning.

We don’t recommend swimming in the marina. A crocodile we saw on the way to the boat from the airport
