Monday November 14, 2022 La Cruz Anchorage

(posted 12/23/22)

Up at 6:30 Reneé made some banana bread that we had with our cereal. Then the net, Dan and Melissa are due here at 9 am. Then Mark and family at 1 pm at the dock. After the net, Dan and Mellisa arrived at about 9, and we chatted for a couple of hours, we probably talked too much, but that is what we do. They had a lightening strike in Chiapas, affecting much of their electronics. They plan to get that fixed here and will sail up into the Sea of Cortez. They are home-ported out of Tallahassee, Florida.

We had lunch then went to dock 2 to pick up Mark and family (Maria, Taylor (AKA Blake) Paulette + Carissa). We had a pleasant sail with not very much wind, about 4 the wind basically went away and we put the sails away and motored back to the marina, we left the boat at the dock and went to dinner at La Peska (the fancy restaurant in the marina). Finally back out to the anchorage showers and bed.
