Puerto Vallarta to Yelapa, April 16, Friday

Up at 7 am, breakfast listen to the net, bible reading and running the water maker to top of the water tank. I checked the oil and discovered a mess, a bottle of oil had leaked and there was a lot of oil on the floor of the engine room. I spent the time while Reneé was walking over to check us out cleaning the mess up. In any case we got out of the marina by about 1130 and motored across to Yelapa. I am really looking forward to new sails in the fall. Edgar was the guy we were supposed to contact to get a mooring ball, but Richard showed up quite a ways out, and said he worked with Edgar and we should just go with him, but we had already attempted to call Edgar. Shortly after this, Edgar got back to us and asked us to tell Richard that we were with Edgar and he came out and got us on a mooring ball. This is a very cute little town!

We put our swim suits on and floated behind the boat for a bit.

Our time for sailing is quickly coming to an end for this season. We are going to pull into Paradise Village on Tuesday, and that will be it. The schedule for us will be all about getting the boat ready to leave for the summer. We will have to clean the boat, get the dehumidifier running to make sure it works, pack for our trip, get rid of the Gasoline for the outboard, flush the outboard with water, pump out the holding tank and fill with water and then pump out again. (Several times) then replace the vent filter on the holding tank. We will have to get rid of the extra food as well.
