Up at 5:30 underway shortly after 6. Breakfast underway. Then we listened to the service from Gracepoint in Savannah, TN. We saw a pod of dolphins, and a turtle or two. Virtually no wind all day, the water was like glass.
We got to Santispac and anchored about 3 pm. We’re in 30 feet of water. The water is 74 degrees, because of the shape of this bay there is almost never a swell.
We plan to stay 2 or 3 days. Tomorrow we are going in to Mulege a nearby town. Some friends (Lisa & Patrick, SV Soulmate from Kingman AZ) are going in for dental work, and we are splitting cab fare. There’s a good brewery here, and we are about out of fresh fruit and vegetables.
Lisa & Patrick came over, Lisa first, and we played some Mexican train then she went back in her dinghy and got Patrick and we had dinner. They left about 7 pm and we finally got to bed about 9.
