We were up at 5:30, underway by 6 am. We watched the sun come up, flat seas and a very light breeze (less than 4 knots).
This morning Reneé put out her pole, and decided it would be a good idea to have a knife on deck. Either to cut the line, or kill the fish. We talked about it, but i did not get the one i thought was best out, when i went below. It is buried in one of the tool bags. So, she went and got a pocket knife. No I more than 5 minutes later she snagged a big fish, her line started running out fast, she cut the line, and she changed poles. This is the first time in our time in Mexico that has happened.
We anchored at San Juanico about 1:30, in 16 feet of water. This is about as shallow as we have anchored (except Barra de Navidad).
