January 15th, 2025 Puerto Vallarta Wednesday (Paradise Village)

Up at about 6:30, we had our coffee, listened to the Net, had breakfast and did our bible reading for the day. Then Reneé headed off to take one of our propane tanks in to get filled, while she diid that I worked on getting the water tank filled. In the process, I found the door to the aft lazaretto is broken. I called for a carpenter. They will be here Friday. So, we arranged to stay an additional day. Eventually, we got the water tank filled (121 gallons, out of 260 gallons total). We put the staysail up, and stowed some lines. Just another work day on the boat.

At the end of the day, we took a walk, intending to watch the sunset. Instead of the sunset we got busy chatting with other boaters along the way. We ran into Jill on SV  Namahana who we knew from previous interactions here in Paradise Village. They are selling their boat this year as well, they have had it for 33 years.

This is the door to our aft lazerette. Where the hinge attaches at the top is broken. I am trying to get a carpenter to assist with this.
Close up with the door out of the way.
This breaker was originally the output from the battery charger, then it was repurposed to supply the DC water maker, now it goes to the AFT Air Conditioner. It needs a new label.
Just out for a walk and another sunset
