Then at the bus station I caught a cab to the airport. I was there about 11:30 for a 2:30 flight. The instructions were to be there 2 hours early. Of course, I was in line with about 50 people, and there was no one at the desk. Eventually, I was checked in and waiting to board. This airport is small, very small, as in they had seating by groups not gates! When we boarded, we walked out on the tarmac and walked up stairs at both ends of the plane (about 175 people). In Tijuana, I timed getting up from the seat on the plane to sitting in that
Bob & Sharlene’s car in California, 42 minutes. That includes customs and crossing the border! It was about 10 hours from leaving the boat to being at their house.
Reneé started the project of filling the fuel tank. It took 10 Jerry cans to fill the tank. She got some help from Roberto on SV Walkabout and Vidal, a marina employee.
