Up at 7 am, breakfast, bible reading and off to deal with laundry and swap the outboard. I will listen to the net via the handheld on the dinghy.

I ran Reneé into the dinghy dock and dropped her off then over to get Robert finally over to Dave and Michele’s boat. We swapped the outboards and took their boat out to see if it could get up on a plane (nope, disappointment). I am very happy with the swap, they will have 4 people most of the time, and the biggest motor their dinghy can have is a 20 hp (which then now have) and the lightest 20 hp from 2019 was this one at 97 lbs. They are going to try increasing the inflation in the dinghy to see if that helps, and perhaps a 4 blade prop for more torque. When we went back to get the clothes, I dropped Reneé off and ran around the marina for a few minutes and ran into Dan and Melissa on SV Dancing on the Edge, an Island Packet 485 (we are friends on Facebook), when I said that we had a 445, he knew my first name. As I have told several people: “I have friends everywhere, some I have even met!” I got Reneé and went back to their boat and we chatted and toured their boat. They are here replacing all electronics, they had a lightening strike at Chiapas, so everything has to be replaced.

After we got back to our boat, Curt and Jill from SV Namahana stopped by for a quick tour and a beer, they were gone by about 6 and we started the generator and working on dinner.
