We left for Bucerias at 8:15 hoping to get my bangs cut before the 9:30 Bible study. Two buses got us to the street where the hairdresser is. She wasn’t open so we called her and she said she’d open at 11. We enjoyed a lively discussion and study on John 10. After the study and a haircut we took a bus to a refrigeration store and bought Freon, hoses and gauges for the compressors on the boat. Lunch was at Rosita’s Restaurant next to the refrigeration shop. Two buses to get home.
Cano cleaned the bottom of the boat and took a look at our dinghy to report its condition to our buyer. Yeah! It sold! Cano also looked under the back of the boat for our dinghy anchor which fell in. He didn’t find it. I might take s boat hook at low tide and try to find it myself.
We went to the pool for a swim and happy hour. We ordered hamburgers. We will stop ordering food at the pool. The hamburgers give me an upset stomach and the pizza does the same to Neil.
I don’t know if you see these comments but they are fun to write after reading your day. Ours was slow, but lovely as well. We aren’t on a boat but the sunshine and pool in Florida is so uplifting and I need these things some days. Our garden is blooming with hydrangeas, vincas, gardenias and peace lilies for example. Rob is the gardener and I pull my weight by watering. Team work is the dream work! Rob presented a lecture to the British military today while I worked on leadership activities for our church. Tomorrow I’ll return to doing prep work for summer school. Rob leaves Saturday for two weeks where he’ll help lead British officers through the WWII battlefields of France and Belgium and hopefully they will also get input concerning “lessons learned” in context with today’s tragedies and violence in Ukraine. I’ll be solo but have some activities planned to keep me busy till he gets back. We’ve booked our trip to see Erich & Emma & the boys in Qatar. If you want to come back to Florida in October and housesit here for three weeks while we are gone feel free! Lol! Hope we can see each other soon. Much love, many prayers for safe travels – Linda

We are planning on being in Florida to visit Nate. Not sure exactly when. He is near Pensacola so a day’s drive each way to the Tampa area.
