Friday January 21, 2022, Ipala to Chamela

Up at 6 slowly, underway by 8 am, anchor up and so was the sun. Underway and breakfast while tossing, no wind and lots of swells, We motored all day, slowly. Finally getting to Chamela and anchoring behind an island. It was one of those sailing trips where there is either no wind, too much wind or it is coming from the wrong direction. In this case we had all three. No wind most of the day, with a north bound current and south bound swells. Then the the wind picked up and it was right on the nose so we still could not use it. Then by the time we were headed into anchor way more wind than we wanted. But we got anchored, had dinner and showers and watched a movie. Tomorrow is a rest day, we will stay here in Chamela for a day to play.

Reneé had to get a picture of the two of us
Just another sunset
Sometimes when “sailing” there is no wind.
This is where we anchored in Chamela
These are dolphin. It is much more impressive in realtime where they are jumping over each other to move through the water.
