Renee’ got up very early this morning (about 5:30) to make cinnamon roles. She used some starter that she made bread with last week. The starter came from Reina on S/V Karma, as did the recipe. I got up a bit later (about 7:30), and we had our neighbor, Kay from S/V Gone Nutz over and we watched the service from North Coast and had rolls. It was a good sermon. Done by the young Chris.
Afterwards, we took the boat out and ran the water maker for 4 hours or so.
The wind was significantly more than I had expected. At the dock we had about 2 knots, but when we got out around the corner we had 25 knots with gusts to 35 knots. Somewhat uncomfortable. In any case we dumped the holding tank and ran the water maker, then came back in and tied up about 5:30.
After dinner we had Kay and OJ over to learn a new card game called Baja Rummy, a rather complicated game that requires one more deck than people playing and drawing two cards each turn and discarding only one card. Scoring is complicated as well.
Finally we got to bed at about 11:30. A very long day.
We do have room for guests, if anyone is interested in visiting and spending a week or so with us, drop us a line and we will coordinate. What you have to do/have is you need a passport and will need to be able to get to where we are when you are going to be down. When we know what time frame you are thinking about we can let you know where we expect to be so that you can make your travel arrangements.

Oh, and no pictures again today.
Hope you are not running into the CoronaVirus where you are. Be VERY carful! I can’t seem to follow you very much as it makes me “want to”. Just about everytime I look, I have boat dreams that night. Marjie says hi.
We are seeing the effects, some things are not available in the stores, some of the other cruisers are leaving early. La Paz has instituted a 1 week quarantine on new arrivals including cruisers.
I am sorry to disturb your sleep.
Maybe you should only check out the blog first thing in the morning, then check the stock market afterwards.
I have TP. I accidently bought lots of TP during several trips to the grocery store in prep for visitors. Each time I thought, did I buy TP last time? turned out each time I did. lol. But that was before the crazy shopping onslaught. So we’ve not had to worry about that. Would love to visit the boat! I’m just worried about getting on a plane and not being able to get back home. love to you guys from sunny florida.
I get it about buying because you don’t remember if you did last time. When we moved out of our house in Oceanside, we cleaned out our shed, where we kept can goods and paper products and the like, we found boxes and boxes of zip lock bags all sizes. Guess what the first thing to get into the storage pods was? Yup the bags, and as we took things apart (like tables) I asked for a zip lock to put the fasteners in, and by that time they were buried, so a trip to the store was in order to buy zip lock bags!
As far as visiting us, perhaps you should wait until next year. We have reservations for haul out in Puerto Penasco at the north end of the Sea of Cortez on May 11, (plus or minus a week). We expect to be back to the boat in November.
